One Year Anniversary for Voice Up is Just Around the Corner:-) - November 12th
Hey Voice Up!
Hope all of you are very well. It's time for another exciting week ahead.
The thing I would like to share with you all is over the last several days my family happened to lose one of those family figures that you would call a “Titan”.
The interesting thing about it is I'm fortunate to be in a position where I have the ability to still talk with and learn from four additional Titans in my family, all of which are in their early to mid-80s.
According to the data on the U.S.the likelihood of this occurring in a single family is less than 1% across all families in the U.S. And, specifically for African American families it is around 0.5%. This is a great representation of the unique opportunity that lies ahead.
The reason I'm sharing this is that their is a wonderful thing about Voice Up that many of you may know.
We create that Safe Space…
My goal is to share all the lessons I've been fortunate to learn from all of the Titans on the power of creating that Safe Space.
My recent trip back home to Montgomery, Alabama solidified in my mind the power that Voice Up and connecting to purpose will continue to have on our world.
It just so happens that four of these Titans are in my family and are still alive today. I share this to say that on November 12th Voice Up will be releasing its one year anniversary celebration as a new book!
Oh what a mighty book it will be:-)!
It will share the journey of how over 12 months we have reached over 3,774 cities spanning 134 countries. It will share the stories of our interns from the first cohort to the present day and what's developing today and beyond.
As part of the book many of you will learn even more about the engine of Voice Up.

I can truly say there is no other site like it today and over the next 30 days we will continue to receive feedback on updates and improvements.
The site allows you to begin your journey towards purpose in any way that you like.

Or, maybe you have an idea for something new that you don't yet know what to do with yet.
Or, maybe you would like to learn from the example of one of our current or past interns.
Or, maybe you like playing games or just a simple chat.
All of these are immediately available options and more!
Continue to test it before it is truly released and shared with the world, so dig deep:-)...
