Position Overview

The Teaching Assistant Intern will work directly with the founder of VoiceUp Publishing Inc. to support the implementation and management of an innovative digital learning platform. This platform empowers college student leaders to pursue meaningful social impact projects aligned with their personal causes and interests.

Position Details

- **Type: Remote (100% virtual)

- **Schedule:Flexible hours

- **Duration  Academic semester

- **Compensation:Academic credit available or volunteer basis

- **Recognition:Letter of support from the founder upon completion

 

Key Responsibilities

 

**Project Management & Student Support**

- Track and monitor progress of student leaders' social impact projects

- Ensure adherence to project milestones and deadlines

- Maintain regular communication with student participants

- Document project outcomes and student achievements

- Provide support and resources to help students overcome challenges

 

**Meeting Facilitation**

- Assist in organizing and hosting virtual team meetings

- Support the creation of meeting agendas and materials

- Facilitate peer-to-peer learning and idea sharing sessions

- Take detailed notes and distribute meeting summaries

- Follow up on action items and commitments

 

**Platform Implementation**

- Support the rollout of the digital learning platform

- Help create and organize educational content

- Assist in troubleshooting technical issues

- Gather feedback for platform improvements

- Document best practices and learning outcomes

 

Required Qualifications

- Current college student or recent graduate

- Strong organizational and time management skills

- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities

- Experience with virtual collaboration tools

- Demonstrated interest in social impact and education

- Self-motivated with ability to work independently

 

Preferred Qualifications

- Previous experience in peer mentoring or teaching

- Project management experience

- Familiarity with digital learning platforms

Position Overview

Join Voice Up Publishing as a Teacher Leadership Intern, mentoring and coaching emerging student leaders from elementary through high school in discovering and pursuing their purpose. This role focuses on nurturing young leaders while helping them develop meaningful projects that align with their personal missions and values.

 

Key Responsibilities

- Mentor students across elementary, middle, and high school levels

- Guide students in purpose discovery and exploration

- Facilitate project development aligned with student interests

- Create age-appropriate leadership resources

- Support student-led initiatives

- Participate in weekly Saturday afternoon collaborative sessions with our nationwide team of student leaders

- Document student growth and development

- Build supportive learning communities

- Current enrollment in an accredited college or university
