Key Roles & Responsibilities
Program Development & Integration
- Identify and evaluate cities with policies and stakeholders aligned with housing innovation
- Design comprehensive community assessment tools and methodologies
- Develop metrics for measuring program success and community impact
- Create implementation strategies for pilot programs
- Coordinate with Voice Up's faith, education, health, and workforce development initiatives
- Support the integration of Building Caring with the innovative hospital-church community project
- Develop strategies for creating holistic community support systems that connect housing with healthcare, education, and employment opportunities
Partnership Building
- Collaborate with a team of experienced professionals dedicated to VoiceUp's mission
- Build relationships with community leaders, policymakers, and stakeholders
- Identify and engage potential partner organizations and communities
- Facilitate cross-sector collaboration to support program implementation
Workforce Development & Leadership
- Serve as faculty member at VoiceUp's Global University
- Mentor and guide top undergraduate and graduate students in urban design
- Facilitate student research and projects focused on innovative housing solutions

- Foster collaboration between students and community stakeholders

First Year Milestones
Executive in Residence Period (3 - 6 months)

Qualifications
Required Experience
- Knowledge of urban design principles and contemporary housing innovation
- Proven track record in community development or social innovation
- Experience in housing policy, community engagement, or related fields

Position Overview
We seek a visionary leader to oversee our national Faith Journey Mentorship Program, managing a network of 20 remote mentors across the United States. The Executive Director will shape the strategic direction of our interfaith mentorship initiative while fostering an inclusive, supportive environment for both mentors and program participants.
Strategic Leadership Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategic plans to scale the mentorship program across different regions
- Establish program metrics and evaluation frameworks to measure impact
